This is directed to everybody(specifically all the Jessica fans hating on Phillip)
People need to accept the fact that some people prefer Phillip over Jessica and others prefer Jessica over Phillip. So what if they do? We are entitled to our own opinions but it gets on my fucking nerves when people bash others just because they don’t agree.
I’m personally one of the people who prefers Phillip over Jessica. Not because he is attractive, but because his style of music is more up my alley. I personally like bands like Mumford and Sons, Arcade Fire, Bon Iver etc. I connected to him more. His looks were just a bonus.
You don’t see me going around bashing Jessica.
If you prefer Jessica, I totally do not mind. Just as long as you don’t bash Phillip or his fans.
Different strokes for different folks.
Phillip Phillips being attractive isn’t the only reason why I like him.
The main reason(and most important reason) that I love him is because I personally think that he is a talented artist. It’s the rawness and passion in his voice that I adore. Same reason I liked Casey from last season and he was “Average Joe” looking. Anyways, Phillip can cover any song from ANY genre and still make it his own. He doesn’t want to become famous just for fame. He wants be known to make great music.
Second of all, he has an amazing personality. He is so nice, humble and just so amazing. He stays true to himself regardless of what anyone says. Plus, he has a great sense of humor. It seems to me that he has befriended almost all of the contestants.
Him being attractive is not the only reason I like him, but while we are on that subject… He is indeed attractive. From the way he sings to his accent and his gorgeous eyes. He always has those adorable facial expressions. But all of those things are just a bonus.
So stop stereotyping his fans, claiming that they only vote for him because he is hot. The “fans” who only liked him for his looks pretty much stopped voting for him when it was revealed that he has a girlfriend.
